Do your teas contain sugar or calories?
Most of our teas contain virtually no sugar, carbohydrates or calories. However, do understand that it is extremely difficult to pinpoint the nutritional facts on tea since it is a natural product, like a fruit or vegetable. Calories and carbohydrates cannot be calculated due to the minuscule amount found in tea leaves. Without milk or sugar added to tea, tea contains very little calories.
How much caffeine is there in a cup of tea?
It’s hard to say for sure due to a ton of factors, such as water temperature and steeping time, that can change the amount of caffeine in a cup. Although it’s virtually impossible to measure the exact amount of caffeine in every cup, all our teas have been tested and rated with a general rating system as below:

Payment would be processed via PayPal which accepts payment via your individual PayPal account or direct payment via credit or debit card if you do not have a PayPal account.
What delivery service do you use for shipping?
Singapore Post Limited is the primary delivery service company for Gryphon Tea Company unless otherwise stated.
How much does shipping cost?
We offer free shipping within Singapore when you spend $60 and above (excluding tax & shipping fees), and a flat rate price of $6 to anywhere in Singapore for orders less than $60.

Yes we do! We ship to all of Singapore Post Limited’s international shipping destinations. Shipping rates vary depending on destination and weight of order.

How soon will I receive my order?
As all teas are hand-packed to order, this will vary based on the amount of orders in our system at any given time, as well as the shipping location. Orders take approximately 3-5 working days to process BEFORE orders are shipped out from the Gryphon Tea office via Singapore Postal Services (SingPost).

How can I track my shipment?
When your order is complete, we will send you a tracking number via email to confirm your shipment. Simply enter the tracking number at http://www.trackntrace.com.sg/ to locate your parcel.
How can I cancel or modify an order placed online?
As long as payment has been made, orders cannot be cancelled or modified. If you have issues making an order, please send us an email and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

What does my order status mean? (Pending, Processing, Shipped)
For orders marked as “Pending”, it means that the order has been successfully submitted to Gryphon Tea, but your payment has not yet been processed.
For orders marked as “Processing”, it means your payment has been processed and your order is in production.
For orders marked as “Shipped”, it means your parcel is in transit, with your tracking information sent to the email address you have provided.
Can I return items bought online?
Returns will only be accepted with valid reasons approved by Gryphon Tea Company prior to return. This includes goods received that are damaged, defective or incorrect that is not due to shipping. Please contact us prior to return and include your order number and reasons for return. Gryphon Tea Company will not be responsible for any shipping cost of return.
How can I return or exchange a defective item?
Upon approval by Gryphon Tea Company, returns must be accompanied by a receipt of purchase made within 90 days.
Are teaware covered with warranty?
All tea accessories sold by Gryphon Tea Company are not covered by warranty. All items shipped out will be checked thoroughly to ensure that the product is in good working condition and free of defects.

How are the Gourmet teas packaged?
All Gourmet teas are packed in aroma-tight bags that are equipped with a zip lock for easy re-sealing.
Can I get free samples?
Free samples are automatically added to each web order. If there are any particular teas that you would like to try, please do not hesitate to let us know and we will try our best to include it in your order for you.
Do you offer gift wrapping?
Gift wrapping is available and may be selected during checkout. However, depending on the amount of orders in our system at any given time, we may require 1-2 additional working days to gift wrap your items.
Where are your teas blended?
Our team blends all of our teas by hand in small batches at our main office located at Singapore.
What makes Gryphon Tea different from other tea companies?
All our teas are inspired by various Asian heritages and cultures.
Can I steep my tea more than once?
In many cases, the flavour profile will be unique with each steeping. Re-steeping is not necessarily recommended for tisanes. For best results, you should also only re-steep within the first couple of hours of the first infusion.
Why do your teas contain flavouring?
Rest assured that only natural flavourings are used in our blends. These flavourings are added to give each of our teas its unique taste profile. However, if you’re not keen on flavourings, we have plenty of other unflavoured blends available.
How long does your tea stay fresh?
Although tea does not go bad, it does become stale over time. We generally recommend drinking any of our teas within 2 years of purchase or before best date indicated.
What is the best way for me to store my loose tea?
We recommend that you store your loose tea in an air-tight container, kept away from direct sunlight and in a cool and dry environment.
Can I make a purchase without signing up for an account?
Yes you can. When you purchase as a guest, your details won’t be recorded but will only be used for the purpose of the sales transaction. However, we highly recommend that you sign up for an account for a faster check out the next time, and to receive personalised recommendations and stay updated with our deals and offers if you choose to sign-up for our newsletter.
